LazyChinese ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This App Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the LazyChinese mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Email Address: We collect your email address when you choose to link your account. This email is immediately converted into a secure cryptographic hash (SHA-256) and is used solely to verify your membership status and synchronize your study progress.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To verify your active subscription status.
- To sync your watch history and study progress (study minutes) with our API.
- To display your selected profile avatar and nickname.
3. Data Sharing & Security
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. All communication between the app and our servers is secured using SSL/HTTPS encryption. Your email address is never stored in plain text; we only store the secure cryptographic hash on our server.
4. Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from within the application (go to Profile > Delete Account). Deleting your account scrambles and permanently anonymizes your email address and study progress records in our database.
