  • Yes, you can cancel anytime, and you will still have access to the premium content until your next billing date.

    To cancel your subscription, go to your account, click “Manage Subscription,” and then click “Cancel Subscription.”

  • If you’re unable to pay through our website, please email us. We can manually sign you up, but this option is only available for yearly memberships.

  • If you are watching one of our free videos embedded from YouTube, you may sometimes see the message: “Sign in to confirm that you are not a bot.” This happens because YouTube occasionally restricts embedded videos.

    To fix this:

    1. Open a new tab and go to YouTube, then sign in to your Google account.

    2. Keep that tab open, then return to the original page with the embedded video.

    3. Refresh the page. The embedded video should now recognize that you are signed in.

    If this still does not work, your browser may be blocking the necessary cookies. Please check that:

    • Cookies are enabled

    • You do not have extensions installed that block cookies or scripts, such as ad blockers or privacy extensions

  • Watch videos at your level where you can understand the general meaning of the video and get daily Chinese input. We recommend listening for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour every day, depending on your learning goals.

    P.S. You do not need to watch videos from only one level. You can watch videos from different levels as long as you feel comfortable.

    At LazyChinese, we do our best to provide interesting Chinese content at different levels so that you can improve gradually and naturally.

  • We don’t have an exact number, and it varies depending on your native language. However, here is a reference from Dreaming Spanish. You may need to double the hours if you are a Romance language speaker.

  • For videos below your level, feel free to watch them if you are interested. For videos above your level, you can still watch them, but they may not be the most efficient input for learning.

  • You can watch the same video multiple times as long as you are not bored. However, we encourage you to find a balance between having fun and learning.

  • We recommend that you start with input first, and then try crosstalk, shadowing, or join our program.
